About Dawn Healthcare
A local home care team helping adults in Leicester live well in familiar surroundings, with care that respects who you are and how you like to live.
Our story
Dawn Healthcare was set up with a simple idea: everyone deserves care at home that feels personal, unhurried and kind. We wanted to offer families in Leicester the kind of support we would want for our own parents and grandparents.
We registered with the Care Quality Commission in 2023 and have built our service around listening first. Every person we support has their own routine, history and way of doing things, and our job is to fit around that, not the other way round.
Today we are a growing local team of carers, coordinators and managers who share the same belief. Good care starts with getting to know you.

The people who lead Dawn Healthcare
Our leadership team is closely involved in day to day care, so you will always have someone experienced to speak to.
Our managers work alongside our carers every week, supporting them and checking that care is going well.
Carers you can trust
We recruit carers for their kindness and good judgement as well as their skills. Before anyone visits you, we make sure they are ready to support you safely and well.

- Enhanced DBS checks before they start
- A full induction, including shadowing an experienced carer
- Training that follows the Care Certificate standards
- Regular supervision, spot checks and refresher training
